Most comercial email services these days require you to put your list through another opt-in confirmation process before they allow you to communicate with your customers or prospects. Unfortunately, people tend to ignore opt-in re-confirmation requests. As a result, importing your list to one of these services could result in you losing as much as 50% of your hard-won email list.
My service specializes in sending emails to in-house mailing lists that were built (not purchased) and maintained by the list owners themselves.

As a database and Internet marketer since 1991, I understand the importance of building and maintaining mailing lists of customers and prospects.
But, when I tried to use a commercial service such as AWeber or GetResponse and only 50% re-confirmed, I decided to host my own mail server.
If you have an in-house list and don't want to lose hundreds if not thousands of email addresses due to unecessary re-confirmation requirements, then I can help you.

You could try sending broadcast emails using your company's email sytem, but if your list has more than a few dozen contacts, you could quickly run in to SMTP sending limits imposed by your ISP.
In addition, with Spam overunning the Internet, ISPs are setting ever higher barriers to maintaining a decent sender reputation. You could find your emails going out but mysteriously never arriving. No error messages, no warnings.
Focus on the message and let me worry about the tedium. SPF records, blacklists, reverse DNS settings, feedback loops, SMTP settings, and more shouldn't be at the top of your mind.
As a small business owner/operator since 1991, I understand how maintaining technology can quickly become a major time drain and source of frustration.
Having gone through the complex process of setting up and running my own mail server, I realized that it is an underutilized resource compared to the effort and expense that goes in to its upkeep.
That is why I decided to accept a small number of clients that would benefit from my personal attention and assistance- in essence, your outsourced mail server IT guy who happens to also know a thing or two about marketing.
Is everyone on your mailing list a customer or someone who directly opted in to your mailing list? |
|
Is your mailing list reasonably up to date? In other words, will I see a bounce rate of 10% or less? |
|
| Is your mailing list less than 25,000 accounts? | |
Will you send less than 100,000 emails a month? |
|
| If you need to send more than 10,000 emails in a day, will you be OK with checking with me to make sure we don't run over SMTP sending limits for the day? |
If you can answer in the affirmative to most of the questions above, chances are we're a good match. If you need more intensive resources, check with me anyway as I can always upgrade my server's capacities under the right circumstances
My software is actively maintained with weekly updates by the vendor. They boast over 40,000 customers worldwide including companies such as Texas Instruments, Canon, Dell, Trek, IBM, and Audi.
